An app for sharing the work of running a home, as a couple or a family. Every chore and every bit of care earns points for whoever did it; you both see it, you both confirm it, and you celebrate it together. It also has a family calendar, a shopping list and to-dos.

Not yet: today the app is in Spanish. English is on the way, and this website already speaks it. If you join the list from this page, we'll know you're waiting for it.

Today, each home is two adults, with or without kids. Children don't have accounts: they live in the family calendar, each with their own colour. Other kinds of home, with more adults or split across two houses, are on the list of what's next.

Any phone with an up-to-date browser, plus tablets and computers. You can add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app. App Store and Google Play versions will come later.

Favo means honeycomb in Latin, Italian and Portuguese, and kin means family: the family hive. The full story is under «The name».

By logging what you do: a chore from the list, a recurring one or a new one. Your partner confirms it with a tap and the points go in. If the number feels off, they suggest another and you agree on it.

Dinner with friends, a match, an afternoon off: those are plans, and you pay for them in points. One of you proposes and the other accepts or makes a counter-offer, up to three rounds. It's all in writing, so nobody has to remember who said what.

Nothing bad. Your streak counts the weeks you both chip in on three days; if one goes sideways, a shield covers it. And if you're out of shields, the hive takes a rest, but your weeks stay safely stored. Nobody loses points for not doing something.

A little, if you like: the scoreboard shows who's ahead this week. But the streak, the level and the seasons belong to the home, so in the end you're on the same team.

With an invite code. Join the waitlist and we'll send you one when there's room, first come, first served. If you already have one, enter it under «I have a code».

No. One code gets the whole home in: when you set up your hive, the app gives you a link to invite your partner.

During the beta, nothing. For the first 500 homes, nothing ever: they're the Founding Hive. After that there'll be a free plan with the game and the calendar, and an optional Premium plan per home, priced and announced before anyone is charged.

The first 500 homes to join the beta. For them Favokin is free for life, including anything that becomes paid later. It's our thank-you to the people helping us build it.

No. The beta asks for no payment details, and a Founding Hive will never be asked for any.

Your home and everything you've logged stay exactly as they are. Founding Hives stay free. Everyone else moves to the free plan, and Premium is optional.

Store it so the app works, on servers in the European Union. There are no ads, and we don't sell or share data with anyone. The details are in the app's privacy policy.

Yes to both, from Settings, whenever you like. If you delete your account, your data goes with it.

Your email, the language, whatever optional boxes you tick and the date you agreed. Only to invite you to the beta. It's deleted after a year at most, or sooner if you ask.
